Philly BLK GRL’s first official meetup

Philly BLK GRL’s first official meetup marked a meaningful step from digital community to real-life connection. Designed as an intentional gathering for Black women in Philadelphia, the event created space for style, self-expression, and face to face genuine interaction. We curated a picnic experience with wine tasting, painting, and a photo op area to reflect the spirit of a community built on showing up fully and connecting with ease.

Founded in 2023, Philly BLK GRL began as an online space for Black women to connect beyond social media. With over 1,500 members, this first meetup brought that vision to life, creating an environment where community could be experienced in real time, not just on a screen.
